Presenting creative music in Seattle since 2013
Join us on July 11 for a really special night of music celebrating one of Seaprog’s founders, Dennis Rea. He’s been active on the Seattle music scene for 50 years, and he’s throwing a party to mark the milestone.
These days, Dennis has three main musical projects that will perform at Kenyon Hall, which means the audience gets a wonderful show of varied music while Dennis gets no rest.

It was 50 years ago this year that guitarist Dennis Rea arrived in Seattle, and to celebrate the milestone, three of his groups will present a special performance at Kenyon Hall in West Seattle. More info at https://www.kenyonhall.org/events/dennisrea
Reaven Trio is another outlet for the music of Dennis Rea. Here he teams up with Moraine bandmate James DeJoie, here focusing on flute, and keyboardist Jon Alberts. They play tunes written by Rea and Alberts along with select covers from jazz and beyond.
If you insist on labels, you can call it Chamber Jazz, but don’t expect the music of Reaven Trio to conform to any strict boundaries.
