SUMMARY:Seaprog Presents #16
DESCRIPTION:Poster for Seaprog Presents 27 Jun 2026\nWe’re happy to have found a new home for some of our events. On Saturday June 27\, 2026 we’re bringing a great triple bill to Kenyon Hall in West Seattle. \nKenyon Hall is a great little theater in a friendly neighborhood that operates as a non-profit for the community’s benefit\, and we’re happy to partner with them to bring creative music to life. The theater has recently finished a substantial remodel\, and with a bigger stage and upgraded sound and lights\, it should be an excellent place for Seaprog shows. \nAnd who do we have on the bill for this first show? We are very thrilled to have a rare live performance by Immensity Crumb\, who made a big impression in the front room at the 2019 festival. Once again\, they will be featuring a string quartet to bring their unique chamber folk rock to life. This will be the live debut of material from their second album\, which came out to positive reviews earlier this year. \nChamber Music for Sleeping Giants by Immensity Crumb \nRik Wright is a Seattle guitarist with a long history in the area\, and he was part of the group that presented Zero G Concerts\, a sort of precursor to Seaprog. He’ll be joining us with his band Fundamental Forces for some boundary-stretching jazz. As it happens\, this will be the release show for their new album\, Fool’s Fate.\nFool’s Fate by Rik Wright’s Fundamental Forces \nAnd finally\, a local band we’ve been hoping to work with for several years — Fian. This is a very eclectic band with a lot going for them\, both instrumentally and vocally. \nNotes from the Underground by Fian \nFeatured artists: \n\n\n	\n	\n \n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Fian promotional photo by Steve Alboucq\n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Rik Wright's Fundamental Forces promotional photo\n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Immensity Crumb promotional photo\n \n \n\n	\n\n \n	\n\n	\n	\n	\n\n	\n\n\nTicket purchase: \n\nTickets are on sale now!

SUMMARY:Seaprog Presents #15 Off the Record
DESCRIPTION:Poster for Off the Record event 2 May 2026\nOn Saturday May 2\, 2026\, we planned to co-present the first of what we hope will be a continuing series of events that combine a kind of show-and-tell for vinyl LPs and a live performance by a band. Off the Record is produced in conjunction with Guaranteed Fresh at Culture Yard in Fremont. \nAt 4:30 we’ll start out with Tune Audio hosting some classic vinyl\, and guests are welcome to bring a favorite LP to share\, along with a brief statement about why you like it so much. 70s prog? Classic fusion? Avant-rock? Share what floats your boat! \nAnd then\, we’ll have a set from Plash\, a relatively new Seattle band that’s known for math-rock rhythms and catchy melodies. \nThe event is free\, though donations will be accepted to help defray costs. \nDue to  an illness in the band\, the event had to be cancelled. We hope to be able to present them at a future date. \nFeatured artists: \n\n\n	\n	\n \n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Plash promotional photo

SUMMARY:Seaprog Presents #13
DESCRIPTION:Event poster\nFor our first event at the venerable Jules Maes saloon\, we had two longtime favorites and a Seaprog newcomer. \nBy this time Moraine and Nosretep don’t need an introduction to Seaprog fans\, but both bands have something new for attendees who have seen them before. In the case of Moraine\, it’s the return of founding member Ruth Davidson on cello after a long absence\, making the band a formidable six-piece with an even bigger sound. And for Nosretep\, there’s a new member on bass. Ursula Stewart\, who has played with a number of different bands locally\, brings her adept technique to bear on the band’s heavy math-rock tunes. \nFeatured artists: \n\n\n	\n	\n \n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Mind Beams promotional photo\n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Moraine promotional photo\n \n \n\n	\n\n\n	\n\n	\n\n \n \n \n Nosretep promotional photo
